Nobody is really sure how Great-grandfather Rufus Wonderpen discovered the magic of the wonder pen. Whenever anyone asked him, he would smile and say, 'That's a Wonderpen secret.' Great Grandfather Rufus had a factory where he made pens. My dad owns that factory now. Dad reckons he might know the story. He says that Great Grandfather was working in his factory late one night. The moon was full and bright. Great Grandfather always loved staring at the moon. Dad reckons that some moon-dust must have fallen from the sky onto the pen that Rufus was making at the time. When Great Grandfather Rufus used the pen to make a drawing, he must have used the magic words:

I don't know if that's how it really happened or not.
Nobody knows!

Great Grandfather Rufus vanished on his 80^th birthday. Dad says he went to live on the moon. How amazing is that? One day I'm going to use my wonder pen to draw a space rocket that will take me to the moon.
